A peace loving and family oriented formation from across the seas, Aelius offered a safe haven for those who recognize Ra as the true provider and creator. Its ranks, festivals and rituals are deeply rooted in the ways of Ancient Egypt and strongly adhere to the god Ra and anything that has to do with light, life and truth.
Equal rights between the genders as well as open relationship with their Pharaoh, instead of their leader being a power motivated being who keeps himself separate, he is chooses to be to a be friend and mentor type of leader.
Aelius also is intent on the pursuit and destruction of the dark powers. Anything that has to with Apep or the dark gods will not be tolerated within the pack. Individuals who cross over into the dark clutches of Seth, Apep or any other evil god and refuses help to come back to Ra will be banished.
As it is a roaming pack, they never stay in one place long as they carry out their commission to serve in the light. Since they are the sister pack to Amenti, they do share some rankings but there are notable differences to be found.H I S T O R Y
The pack was built by Ramses father, a great Pharaoh by the name of Ptolemy, to bring unity and peace amongst wolves under the reign of the one who created all life, Ra.
Because of the desire to teach as many as possible the love of Ra, Prolemy moved from distant Egypt, all the way through Africa and finally to Anikira. Here he established Aelius and created a strong following. To expand his rule he chose a queen from among the most devout. A beautiful female by the name of Amunta who served faithfully and for a long time before she rose to the rank of Queen. Together they built a kingdom to Ra, blessed with numbers and trust among them all.
To continue their proud lineage, they brought life into this world. A small litter of two, golden Ramses and his dark sister, Nitocris, each were destined for greatness as they both received the highest training from the Pharaoh himself who had, along with his treasured mate Amunta, decided that when the time came for Ptolemy to join the ancestors in the afterlife - the siblings would rule side by side and carry the message of light to all they could reach.
Content with this arrangement, Ramses proved a doting brother and avid follower of their parents teachings. Amunta often said he was destined to be Pharaoh with the exaggerated black marks around his eyes that Ra himself used to adorn himself with. Nitocris, having been born with the mark of the Serpent, was seen as blessed as well. Although some said she was the daughter of Apep who ruled with chaos and darkness, their parents refused to see their daughter as anything other than the perfect other half to her brother who was often run by emotion and was hoped to help him see reason. He was to assist Nitocris in ruling with the heart - a balance seen as destined by the gods to be in complete harmony.
But it was not to be so…
As the siblings grew older, Nitocris showed signs of fulfilling the whispers spoken by the less faithful. She let darkness take seed in her heart as Ramses clung to the light. Upon their fathers death, he was ready to take up the title of Pharaoh with her but what was hoped to be balance was instead discord.
So vast was their differences, the pack was forced to split and follow each sibling separately. Nitocris was completely lost to the darkness and Ramses’ heart broke when she was cast out with her rebels. Of course she said she cast him out so it depends on who you believe.
As much as it hurts him to oppose the very one he shared a womb with, grew up and played with, his love for Ra will not allow him to succumb to Apep's tricks. Constant battling between the two packs has become a way of life, one he hopes will end with Nitocris shedding her sinful ways and returning to the ways of their true father, Ra. yet if he fails, he may have the horrible choice to forever rid her deceit from the land.
Since the split, Ramses has kept true his parent's teaching and ever loyal to the God he was raised to serve. Searching for those who need the light, along with those have already chose the path of light.
