The cure has been found! Wolves on Anikira are recovering from the disease and life is moving forward with the promise of pups in many packs. And yet darkness looms on the horizon, daring the creatures of Anikira to relax and allow themselves to get comfortable once more.
What? Why? They'd think that I'm some weak female that cannot fight if they do decide to engage me. I feel as if the half-breed is willing to do just that, though that may just be a figment of my imagination. Also, the absurdity of the male to step in and block my line of sight.
If they think you are a healer and a weaker wolf, they will not take much care when fighting you, if the situation comes to that, You can use that to your advantage and surprise them with your abilities.
Leilani had to admit that the male did have a valid strategy planned out. Without him, she was sure to have died mere hours after being abandoned by those bastards. Ari had helped her out; doing everything from training her to keeping an eye out for her during a fight. He was able to call out actions and she had trained herself to follow them blindly; if he told her to bite to her right she would bite first and look later. It was an odd tactic, but it also raised questions about Ari's nature. Most of the time he was just a voice in her head, but it was during her training that if felt that he took on another form entirely - separate from her pale being.
You trusted me blindly in those situations, and now it's time to repeat the actions. Tell them you're a healer at heart Lani.
And she did. "Healing is my specialty. I find memorization of herbs and their uses to be easier than vocalizing. This is not to say I look down on those who do sing; everyone's strengths lie in different areas. It was for this reason that I initially approached. I saw Adair lying down and thought she had hurt herself. My first words formed a question inquiring after her health."
Little long-winded, but it did the job.
Oh shut up.

[attr="class","pltxt"]Ohnar smiled at the reaction. She seemed to deliberate over it at any rate but once she confirmed his suspicious he was glad for it. It was rare to come across such a wolf and she could most definitely be useful especially since the female seemed inclined to help others regardless of how prickly they could come across. "That's very impressive, I don't think I've come across a healer in awhile." Letting out a slight laugh at his own expense he added on, trying to make the statement more personal and to not leave her feeling detached "I have to say I'm quite useless at it."
It was mostly true, Ohnar knew mostly which plants to avoid consuming and which ones may help in a battle survival situation however none of those were intricate and he doubted he could command half the knowledge that Leilani could if she was as good as she claimed which was likely in his mind. There was no reason to lie to them and it would only make her more useful in his eyes.
While he didn't quite understand why healing was mutually exclusive with singing he understood enough to not press the issue as it would only incite more conflict. Why a wolf wouldn't want to sing was a mystery to him, his throat naturally blended melodies and while he had very little practice or originality he was good enough to follow along on instinct. Howling was mostly instinctual for him anyways. Maybe it was different for her though and he wasn't going to hold it against her at any rate. Healing could be considered a verifiable art in it of itself as well alongside music and they weren't comparable at any rate.
He was glad though that Adair wasn't hurt as the possibility hadn't really occurred to him, but it was nice to know that there would have been someone there if he hadn't been. The idea left a bit of a bitter taste in his mouth that he would be useless to her then but that wouldn't be what would matter in a life or death situation.

Jaidah is one of the albinos on the site, a brand new character brought to life by a brand new player. It is interesting to see how such a pure looking being could be wrapped up in the angsty claws that is Irkalla! We will definitely be staying in-tune with this character to see just what heights Bird is able to take her!
