"So it seems we are both newcomers to this land." He had to admit humans seemed to be meddling in with the affairs of wolves much more now than he remembered in his youth but he supposed that he wasn't really old enough to have all of those memories. He didn't know anyone who really would have memories that far back anyways. perhaps the elders in his pack, or the oldest wolves here. "There seem to be worse places to end up." He didn't know too much about this land but from what he had seen it certainly was breathtaking. Well something that I've seen was and is breathtaking. It wasn't a lewd thought and he didn't mean offense by it, it was simply true. For him at least, he couldn't speak for other wolves. Looking around he watched the other female take a large bite out of her remaining meat. He glanced down at his bloodied paws, he was finished but he licked them clean savoring the last metallic flavor before considering where to lead the conversation to next. He wasn't quite sure, she seemed talkative enough but he didn't really see a whole lot that he could discuss with her. He understood her need to be reserved around strangers and respected it, he knew that there were times to cautious.
Trying to keep the easy air around the exchange he asked, almost conversationally if he wasn't so earnest "So, what do you plan on doing now?" He didn't want her to feel pressured to share so he tried to tell her what he was doing to offer up his half of the information first. He had always planned to share it anyways and didn't have any desire to sequester information. "As odd as it may seem I think I may stick around, try and find some other wolves to spend my time with. I've been in a pack so long it would be lonely otherwise." If he had Adair then that was enough to soothe his loneliness but having more wolves and if they...he paused at that word but decided to optimistically let it stand, found a pack then that would be all he ever wanted. His dreams were simple for an artist but they were honest in every way that counted which he thought was worth something, or at least he hoped it did to those that mattered.
