Since her encounter with the group of wolves at the water way, she found herself a little surprised that anybody would have even heard her. Upon arriving here before hand, she had not found a single hint of another wolf, until they showed up near by. One by one, three wolves arrived, the last wolf to show catching her off guard. She remembered his grey eyes, the colors to his large frame that towered greatly over her smaller one.
When she saw him, she felt her heart do a little series of thumps in her chest though she had forced her words to come out loud and clearly as if she had not remembered who he was. Now that she was able to escape for a little while from a party of wolves, Adair found that her chest felt tight, but she remained calm on the outside as she pushed herself onward. On to where, she wasn't sure but she moved on until she came to a halt at the top of a canyon that took away her breath.
It was calm, colored eyes catching all the rocks that had fallen in the past. The trees that still grew up along the bottom and at the top around her. She was sure that if she sent up a few random notes, it would echo around her even better here than it had at the waters that filled her hunger and quenched her thirst that had been driven to dry out her maw during her travels though rocky lands from the salty bay that she had awoken at quite a while back now.
Keeping her vocals silent for the time being, Adair found herself traveling through the trees along the edge as if she was trying to find a way down into the valley. As she moved, she found that she started to gain more and more of a prancing step to her paws while her thoughts kept bouncing back to the male she eventually learned to be Ohnar. How she had picked up his name, she wasn't really sure, but she kept reminding herself of his name as she lived in a wire crate, just big enough for her to stand or make tight circles. She remembered wishing she could see him again, but also remembered that she was highly grateful that she hadn't. She did not want many to see her in her time spent in the crate, getting poked and prodded with many things.
Now, as she continued to walk along the cliff line, her deaf ear to the canyon, she found herself almost smiling in happiness though she knew it could also be meant to be something else. A quick pause to look around carefully, she was assured that no one had seen the brief smile that crossed her maw before she wiped it clean and allowed her mind to focus on something other than the past. Simply because the past always brought pain to the red merle hybrid, and she did not enjoy reliving that pain.
Adair lifted her head to the sky with a closed maw to see how much of the day had passed since she arrived at the canyon and just how long it had been that she has been walking along the ridge. Not much time. Sun was barely past its highest peak in the sky by now, when it was barely risen half way to the high point. Did she have that much of a happy bounce to her step that helped allow a little extra speed to her pace? Shaking her head, Adair found herself looking around for a cooler place to rest for a bit along the canyon. It was then that she spotted a few caves along the edge of the canyon walls with narrow walk ways leading down to them.
Careful with her steps, she found herself making her way down to one of the caves, miss-stepping a few times as her hind paw sent small amounts of rocks falling into the abyss of trees miles below. She watched the rocks fall a few times for a few brief moments before she made her way onward until she found that she could relax a little more in the cavern. The one place where she could curl up in the shadows, her multi-colored pelt hidden, and breathe without many wolves finding her. Unless they were seeking her out truthfully, and she hoped that there would not be anyone looking for her. She felt like she needed some time to herself to wallow in her own thoughts. Thoughts that she did not quite want to share with anybody other than herself.

Greetings old friend! Maybe you can crack her mind a bit to get her talking a little easier?
