The wind had brought to him the scent of another stranger, and Jareth smiled as his little love caressed his face with its little whispers of company again. Two in the span of a week - what a lovely thing, that fate and Anikira had conspired to bring their king tributes once again.
He did rather hope that this new treat, however, would be a more pleasant one than the last had been. He had taken his drink from the pool of death; now he was eager to find what wonders life might have to offer him. Perhaps this newcomer would prove a more pliable mind than the last. What fun they could have together, if such were the case.
Again the wind brought him to the ocean, but today, with a small, delighted laugh, Jareth found himself drawn to the Endyt Cape, where the beach glimmered in all but the cloudiest of moonless nights. Today the weather was wonderfully fair, and the polished glass pieces that overtook the shoreline shone brilliantly beneath the late springtime sun.
This was a place blessed with a better portion of the magic of Anikira; Jareth could think of no other source of the veritable rainbow upon which he stepped. Only magic could sweep so much beauty into a single place - for nowhere else did even the slightest dusting of amber and emerald appear along the shores of his island kingdom. No, fate and Anikira swept these trinkets here, a treasure hoard fit for the Goblin King. The odds were kind to those who stepped in time with them.
No lovely stranger met his gaze just yet, but Jareth did not allow that to bother him. The wind had brought him here, like a child leading its caretaker to some new, exciting discovery. Jareth knew to trust Anikira when it was so eager. Only the patient ones came away well-fed.
Smiling pleasantly to himself, the Goblin King lowered himself to his belly atop the gleaming bed of glass and deigned to wait. Few creatures would fail to find this place; if nothing else, no one who took the effort to swim here from the mainland would be content to stay in one place for very long, and once his visitor decided to explore, they would find Jareth among his treasure._____
Notes: You have the misfortune of threading with him right after he kills Sivan. Although naturally nothing incredibly unseemly will happen without discussion, first.
RUN, SANSA, RUN.
