[attr="class","post"]A scowl was painted across the fiery femme's countenance as she heaved a final paw over the cliff. Collapsing into a soaked heap, Kora began to lick herself clean of the disgusting saltwater which drenched her coat before she realised that the territory she was on reeked of one kind of wolf. It could only mean that there was a pack inhabiting the area. Great.
Her heartbeat slowing down, the wolf's glistening eyes pierced the landscape, taking in what she had to work with. The scents here were stale, meaning that no wolf was either close nor had they been close any time recently. Opening her heavyset maw to taste more of the nearby scents, Kora noticed that catnip and burdock was nearby. Unfortunately, she could not scent anything which she could lace prey with; she would have to talk her way out of this alone if she was found. Or, perhaps, she could join the pack residing here. Depends on how desperate I am.
Swishing her tail in resignation, the dappled she-wolf stood up and scoured the land once more. It seemed that she did not have much choice.
Gears whirring in her head, Kora figured that it would be good to get on the good side of whoever lived here. She was perfectly in her capability to leave if things went south. What was the worst that could happen?
The smallest hint of a smirk faded onto her muzzle as Kora recalled Adonis' mate and pups convulsing violently. All thanks to me. Perfectly in my capability, indeed.
Exhaling smoothly, Kora made herself appear as neutral as possible. Her emerald eyes held a vacant expression and her mouth went slack, betraying no emotion, as her tail fell to the ground. She stood in a relaxed stance, though her legs were a little straight, whether from pride or otherwise. With a deep breath, Kora's sonorous song echoed through the atmosphere, swirling like smoke through the air into the listening audits of whoever was there.
