Elysium Pack

Elysium is not a pack for the faint of heart. The group is based off of a few different versions of Hell, and the members have the attitude to fit. The pack is made up of a vicious and aggressive collection of wolves who act with determination and without mercy, crushing any resistance in their path without a moment of hesitation. There is no forgiveness among these wolves and even less patience. For some this is a haven of violence and hatred, for others it is a torturous prison from which there is no escape. Morally this group of wolves would be considered Chaotic Evil at first, though the majority of the pack is Lawful Evil based off of the Devil’s command and leadership. Elysium is run with an iron fist and no mercy, leaving any traitors with the consequence of death or slavery. These wolves follow a practice of slavery in multiple ways, as well as participate in slave trade and sales from time to time with other packs or groups. All in all Elysium is the epitome of hell, which turns out beneficial for some, and the equivalent of eternal torture for others.

H I S T O R Y

In the beginning Mara was alone. Her family was weak and the pack she was born into could not sustain her. She used them for as long as she needed, growing to her full size and losing her tail in her never ending fearlessness. But she never stopped. The little goddess pushed forward and away from her birth pack, a decision that led her to joining up with two brothers and starting a pack of their own. This was a pack of monsters. Tenebris was fierce and deadly, a collection of wolves just barely sane enough to function together as a group. She fell for one of the brothers, Raum, and the pair conceived a litter of three females, young demons that would torture the world with their mere presence. Or at least that was Mara’s desire for them.

But Tenebris was not destined to survive. The group was small, disorganized, and ultimately they fell apart. Mara, however, refused to give up. Alongside her loyal servant, Kurja, the female left South Igneir and once again struck out once more. But the anger and hatred that had filled her from her birth radiated through her stronger than ever. She was not done, she would never be done. Instead of accepting failure, she instead founded Elysium. The pack would be her afterlife, it would be her legacy, and it would be her destiny. The would be founded on cruelty and violence, with a foundation of hatred so intense that fire could only make it stronger.

S U P R E M E

Devil: Highest rank within the pack, reserved only for the most violent and aggressive of wolves. This member is in charge of everything within the pack and all of their decisions are final. Male or female, the Devil has a say in anything within the pack and is allowed the first pick of slaves and servants regardless of their past, present or future ownership. All wolves within the pack must answer to the Devil in all conflict and their word is law. This is not a wolf to be messed with, and often times those that speak against them are tortured, imprisoned, or killed.

Sathanus: The Sathanus is the second ranking wolf in the pack. This rank is often reserved for the Devil’s main consort, which is also the wolf that will oversee the pack in the absence of the Devil. It is their responsibility to oversee the demon ranks and ensure that the pack is strong and the Devil’s name is worshipped and respected. Although this wolf is allowed a harem of their own, they are typically part of the Devil’s harem and must report unwaveringly to their Devil at any time. This wolf must also be pure previous to their consummation with the Devil.

Pythias: The Devil’s elite, these wolves are the most trusted by the Devil and are often the wolves that carry out punishments, torture, and execution on the order of the Devil. Although the Sathanus must be respected by this rank, they hold no power over the Pythias, who answer directly to the Devil. Similarly to the Sathanus, these wolves are allowed their choice of slaves and servants after the Devil. These wolves are fierce and feared monsters and are often violent and aggressive towards many other members of the pack.

D E M O N S

Imra: These wolves make up the Devil’s consorts or the Devil’s harem. Although wolves of this rank may provide offspring for the Devil, these offspring are destined for Demon ranks if they are suitable or Nekros ranks if they displease the Devil. They cannot, however, reach the Supreme ranks unless other special circumstances. Wolves within this rank are higher ranking than the Nekros ranks and must remain untouched by all wolves other than the Devil, and any indiscretions on their part or the part of others regarding them will be treated as treason against the Devil and addressed accordingly.

Infernal: Barely controllable, these wolves are the most aggressive and violent of the Demon ranks. They are often on the front lines during wartime and are feared across the lower ranks. These wolves may own slaves, but it is more common for the entire rank to share a few slaves among them. Slaves that belong to these wolves are often injured frequently as these wolves take pleasure in the pain of others and often seek out an opportunity to lash out on those weaker and less fortunate than themselves.

Merihim: These demons find their talent in poisons and herbs. Although they are capable of healing injuries and sickness, they are just as capable of inflicting such on others. Slaves to these wolves do not often live long, though occasionally the Merihim find a servant that proves particularly useful and protect them viciously. Merihim are often very short-tempered and proud, and though they enjoy the company of each other, it is rare that they reach out to the rest of the pack.

Neribos: These wolves are the slavers of the pack. Although they answer to the Supreme, they are in charge of the majority of the slave trade in and out of the pack. They oversee the imprisonment and transport of slaves, as well as diplomatic contact with other packs. These wolves are intelligent and cunning and are prized for their ability to manipulate and control those that are weaker and less intelligent. Although not necessarily the largest or most threatening in appearance, these wolves make up for it in ferocity and determination in all aspects of their lives.

The Fallen: The offspring of the Devil and Sathanus. These pups are honored and respected until they are at least a year of age, when they must earn a rank within the Demons or be disowned by their parents and fall into the Nekros ranks.

N E K R O S

Psychi: The servants of the pack. These wolves are servants by choice, and are therefore slightly higher in rank than the Doulos. Although these wolves may be a part of harems and can be taken as mates by Demons, they do not often move up the ranks of the pack and their offspring are destined to either continue in their line of work or fall lower into the rank of Doulos. Unfortunately for some, these offspring may also be killed by their Demon parent.

Doulos: The slaves of the pack. Within the Doulos there are multiple factions of slave, and a Doulos’s responsibilities as a slave are determined solely by their Masters. Doulos may be for pleasure or labor, or they may be used for experimental subjects or mere scapegoats. Occasionally these wolves may make up a harem of a Demon, but their offspring are often killed or doomed to the Nekros ranks for their entire lives. Oftentimes, however, these wolves are sterile or barren and are incapable or not allowed to reproduce.

Anikei: These wolves are prisoners of the pack and rank even below the Doulos. They are often imprisoned and tortured for information, and may (if they’re lucky) end their lives within the Doulos rank. These wolves are subject to the whims of the Pythias and may be handed off to the Neribos if chosen for sale or trade.

Within Elysium, there are a number of trials that a wolf must endure in order to obtain and maintain a rank within the Demons or above. These trials each pursue a different rank, though none are particularly more difficult to complete than others. If none of these trials are successfully completed, a wolf may not receive a Demon or Supreme rank within their lifetime.

Trials of Temptation (Imra)
Wolves interested in pursuing the rank of Imra (consorts to the Devil) must first complete a series of trials before they may be chosen by the Devil for the rank.

• Purity: First and foremost, the Imra initiates must be pure. These wolves must remain untouched by others romantically and physically. The Devil admires beauty, and only those that spark their interest may proceed onto the next step of the Trials of Temptation.


• Cunning: Once it is confirmed that the Imra initiates are pure and worthy, they must then successfully seduce a member of the Pythias, though this seduction must not contradict the purity of the initiate and may not be revealed to the Pythias prior to seduction.


• Praise: Upon successful seduction, the initiate’s attentions must turn fully to the Devil and they must cast all other adoration aside. Here the initiate must shower the Devil with their praise and show how they are deserving of the Devil’s attention.


• Devotion: Once the Imra initiate has obtained the attention of the Devil, they must then prove their devotion by giving themselves completely to the Devil and remaining romantically dedicated and physically devoted to them. This must be maintained throughout the remainder of the Imra’s life, and they must obey all commands and whims of the Devil regardless of their own opinion or emotions.

Trials of Fire (Infernal)
Wolves interested in pursuing the rank of Infernal must complete the following trials to prove their worth:

• The Trial of Ash: To begin their journey to the Infernal rank, initiates must prove their initial worth in a fight against any wolf within the Nekros ranks. The initiate must not only participate in this fight, but they must also win in order to progress to the next Trial. Doulos may be forced to participate by any member of the Demon ranks, and if they refuse to fight to the best of their ability, they are subject to torture and execution.


• The Trial of Embers: Once an initiate successfully completes the Trial of Ash, they must then prove their worth in a battle against a wolf outside of the pack’s ranks. They must not only defeat this wolf, they must also capture them and return them to the rank of Doulos within the pack. A wolf completing this trial may be absent from the pack for months on end, but they will not be welcomed back within the ranks of Demon until they have captured their target.


• The Trial of Sparks: To fully complete their journey to the Infernal rank, an initiate must successfully produce an heir. Where the Infernal rank may be passed through the generations of an Infernal, the trails must still be successfully completed by their offspring before they may be allowed to follow in their Infernal Parent’s footsteps. In order to proceed to the final Trial of Fire, the initiate must successfully produce an Infernal Heir that is approved by the Devil and Sathanus.


• The Trial of Fire: In the final Trial of Fire, an initiate must prove their worth in a battle against a wolf within the Demon ranks. They must not only participate, but they must win this battle in order to successfully earn the full rank of Infernal.

Trials of Poison (Merihim)
Wolves interested in pursuing the Merihim rank must first prove their worth by completing the following tests:

• The Test of Faith: To begin, a Merihim initiate must prove their loyalty and dedication by allowing themselves to be temporarily blinded by a member of the Merihim chemically. This is a painful and excruciating experience and occasionally can be deadly if the Merihim fails or if the initiate does not heed the warnings of the Merihim assigned to them. The initiate must complete the remaining trials while blinded, and if they are not completed before the blindness wears off, they may be subject to either a repeat blinding or permanent demotion to the Nekros ranks.


• The Test of Skill: Blinded initiates must learn what they can from their assigned Merihim and in order to move forward in their journey to the rank must prove their ability by producing both a successful healing potion and a successful poison. Both of which must be administered to either a wolf outside of the pack or a member of the Doulos or Anikei.


• The Test of Poison: Lastly, the Merihim initiate must survive a poison that will be given to them by their assigned Merihim. This requires strength and determination, and many wolves die from this test before successfully completing their Trials of Poison. Though some wolves endure the poison and move on to become full members of the Merihim, others find themselves permanently maimed or handicapped by the poison and some may find they are not strong enough to survive their final test at all.

Trials of Wisdom (Neribos)
Wolves interested in pursuing the Neribos rank must prove themselves by completing the following:

• The Departure: To begin their journey to the Neribos rank, initiates must leave the pack as early as they are capable and survive on their own for at least a single winter. If these wolves are found participating in other packs or benefitting from the aid of another, they will be subject to either demotion to the Nekros ranks or execution.


• The Retrieval: Initiates are not eligible for return to the pack without the possession of important knowledge from another pack or a captive wolf for the Nekros ranks. Although knowledge of other packs is a possibility for re-entry to the pack, typically Neribos initiates find easier acceptance with an offering of a captive as well.


• The Graduation: In order to graduate into the rank of Neribos, the initiate must facilitate the trade or sale of a Doulos in and out of the pack. This may be through a previously arranged contact of the pack, or if an initiate is feeling particularly bold, they may also find and maintain a new contact for future sale and trade of Doulos in and out of the pack.
