Lorem, ipsum, dolor Times were changing, that much was clear. Things had changed drastically since Kujo had been a child. Both of his parents were gone, his other siblings gone. Members that he had once been familiar with had either moved on or had passed on. Things were different, far different than he had ever expected them to be. But one solid, unchanging thing in his life was none other than his brother Arche. The brothers truly only had one another, and he was thankful that they had been able to rekindle their relationship. As much as Kujo depended upon Arche he also depended upon him. They worked well with one another - and Kujo was incredibly proud of his brother. Arche had always possessed a natural ability to lead others, meanwhile Kujo’s ability was in healing. He liked to think this was something he inherited from his mother. She had always been great with those kinds of things and Kujo felt blessed that he had received those same gifts - in a way it made him feel like his mother was still with him. And Arche was much like their father Toiro with his gentle nature, his gifts with being a natural leader. Their parents legacy would live on for years and generations to come and Kujo couldn’t help but feel his chest swell with pride. He might not have found himself a mate yet but he knew in time, when everything was right, the right female would come into his life.
But his most recent task was checking the borders, solidifying their territory and making his rounds. He was still attempting to get to know a few faces that he had seen but had not gotten acquainted with. One of those faces was a particularly larger brute, Kujo had heard through the grapevine that his name was Mufasa but everyone spoke of him as the gentle giant of the pack. Arche looked upon him highly and that made him one of Kujo’s top priorities when it came to meeting. Of course he hadn’t initially planned on today being that day but as he moved, his paws leading him to one of the only fresh water sources in the land, he caught an unfamiliar scent. He immediately altered his path, moving through the forestry at a decent pace until finally the hulking form of the brute came into his line of vision. Given the description he could only assume that this had to be Mufasa. He dipped his head in greeting before raising it, recognizing the scent of Aludri upon his fur. Offering a smile he spoke, Hey there.. You must be Mufasa I take it? He was taking a chance guessing his name but he was almost certain that it was him.

Mufasa was on patrol again, keeping mostly to himself as the days dragged on. Ophelia had offered to patrol with him if he ever felt lonely or bored, but he didn't want to take up any more of her time. Instead he was on his own, as he usually was. Merewyn had been his constant companion when she came to Aludri, but now she was gone, with no indication that she was returning. Perhaps this was just his fate, that he was doomed to remain alone forever. Trying to focus on the task at hand he chose to leave those thoughts behind him. The gentle hum of a bird caught his ears, making them flick in their direction. There was something gentle and persuading about a birds song. It made him nostalgic for his childhood when things were more simple. He had been abused back then, but at least he had been a child. Sighing he continued to walk around, allowing the signals of the forest around him guide his steps. Aludri was his top priority now, meaning he didn't need to spend time focusing on how much he wished for a mate. Aludri was his family and there was comfort in the fact that he at least had friends like Arche to keep the demons at bay.
The sound of approaching paw steps broke his reverie, his crimson eyes scanning the forest around him. A pale brute erupted from the back drop calling out to Mufasa by name. The larger brute didn't recall ever meeting him, but it wasn't as if there were other red giants crawling around Aludri lands. "What gave me away? My dainty figure or my sweet smell." His voice was mostly teasing, a ghost of a grin lighting up his lips. He was a gentle brute for the most part, candid and warm with his pack mates. This brute obviously carried the Aludri scent so he was a friend not a foe. "Perhaps you wouldn't mind giving me your name, since you already know mine."

Lorem, ipsum, dolor Kujo didn’t feel the need to be worried even as the hulking brute came into view. He was certainly the largest male that Kujo had ever seen, aside from the Kairos giants of course. Everyone knew about them from hearsay but Kujo had never actually met a giant like this up close and personal. It kind of made things sereal for the ivory male. He didn’t take a seat quite yet, he wanted to make sure his presence was actually welcome before he made himself comfortable. It was just nice to see another face out and about on his morning rounds. What gave me away? My dainty figure or my sweet smell. Kujo chuckled, feeling much more comfortable after Mufasa’s teasing vocals. With that he pulled his haunches beneath him as he sat, having to peer up at the brute because he was that much taller than him. Perhaps you wouldn’t mind giving me your name, since you already know mine. He spoke and Kujo nodded his head, a bit embarrassed that he hadn’t introduced himself sooner. Yes, I’m Kujo. My brother has spoke highly of you, I’m glad we are finally getting to meet one another.
He turned his head then, watching as a few robins flew overhead to land in a tree nearby. They were twittering and squawking at one another but quickly grew silent when they noticed the presence of the two wolves. Kujo found he had always been intrigued of birds, they were interesting creatures nonetheless. His gaze having drifted from Mufasa’s frame quickly returned to him, giving him a bit of a smile before continuing. I failed to mention that Arche is my brother.. And being as to how I haven’t exactly met all of my pack members it is a pleasure to finally meet you. Have you seen anything exciting on your rounds this morning? He asked, trying his best to get a conversation going between the two of them. He was curious of Mufasa’s back story and was hoping that he would eventually open up to him so that he could get to know the brute just a little bit better. The more wolves he knew in Aludri the better he would feel - they were supposed to all be a family after all and he didn’t want to have any strangers as part of his family.

Kujo seemed a pleasant enough wolf, giving him a pleasant greeting. It didn't surprise Mufasa that Arche had giving him praise, after all they were good friends and Mufasa was his second. There was no one in the world that Mufasa trusted more than his alpha. Of course the giant brute hadn't met all of the wolves in Alurdi, it was a treat to get to know more of his best friends family. Not that it really mattered. Mufasa hadn't really shared any of his past, yet Arche still accepted him. There was an easy relationship between the two. They were both determined to keep Aludri safe. Giving another tentative grin he relaxed a little, settling more heavily where he sat. "It is nice to meet you as well. Arche never really mentioned siblings. I just assumed they were all gone." It wasn't unheard of that wolves would leave their packs to set off for their own. Mufasa had left his family to come here to Aludri, not that his brother hadn't found him in the end.
When Kujo asked about the patrols, Mufasa wondered what rank he held within the pack. Most of the warriors were under his charge and he had never seen the brute up until this point. "The patrols don't usually turn up anything interesting, which is the way I like it. Interesting things usually mean danger for the pack." The last time he had found something interesting was when Adelia had been kidnapped. Now he preferred it if things were kept nice and straight forward. "Forgive me, but what rank do you hold within the pack. I thought I was familiar with all of the warriors but I have never seen you." He wasn't trying to be rude, but he was curious what role Kujo held here. If he was Arche's brother it would be beneficial for them to be friends. Since Merewyn's death he had been lacking a little in the social department. Perhaps this was the perfect opportunity to branch out and lay down the foot work for a potential friendship.
Arche had Kujo about him, but Mufasa knew next to nothing about the pale brute. He would have to learn it all the hard way, through time and conversation. Though here in Aludri there was unspoken trust between members. One that made it easy to find and make friends.

[attr="class","kujoText1"]Lorem dolor, consectetur. Kujo found that he liked Mufasa, or at least the little bit that he knew about him. Arche hadn’t lied when he had mentioned that he would be a good individual to get to know better. And even though Kujo only had so much to go off of he liked Mufasa’s straightforward and the easy going manner about him. It is nice to meet you as well. Arche never really mentioned siblings. I just assumed they were all gone. He spoke and Kujo gave a half-hearted chuckle before responding, Yea I don’t blame him.. I left before our father died.. I thought I could cure him. I was wrong. Kujo spoke, glancing down at his paws for a moment. It had been a pipe dream, he thought that he could have saved their father but he was wrong. And he made a mistake, he should have never left to begin with. He should have just stayed, but unfortunately that was not something about his past that he could change. The patrols don’t usually turn up anything interesting, which is the way I like it. Interesting things usually mean danger for the pack. Forgive me, but what rank do you hold within the pack. I thought I was familiar with all of the warriors but I have never seen you.
He spoke and Kujo offered him a small smile, That’s probably because I’m not a warrior.. He shifted his weight then before he continued, I am a Seolta.. But I’ve been picking up some extra patrols here and there to help my brother out. Ever since he injured his paw I told him to take things easy and we know how Arche is.. He never takes things easy. So I’m attempting to lessen the workload a bit. He offered Mufasa a smile and slowly a bit of silence began to fall between the two males. So why don’t you tell me a little bit more about you? Where did you come from? Kujo asked though he certainly wasn’t probing the male. He just wanted to get to know him better, if he could gain another friend in his pack he would certainly take it.

It is interesting to see how such a pure looking being could be wrapped up in the angsty claws that is Irkalla! We will definitely be staying in-tune with this character to see just what heights Bird is able to take her!
