Times were changing, that much was clear. Things had changed drastically since Kujo had been a child. Both of his parents were gone, his other siblings gone. Members that he had once been familiar with had either moved on or had passed on. Things were different, far different than he had ever expected them to be. But one solid, unchanging thing in his life was none other than his brother Arche. The brothers truly only had one another, and he was thankful that they had been able to rekindle their relationship. As much as Kujo depended upon Arche he also depended upon him. They worked well with one another - and Kujo was incredibly proud of his brother. Arche had always possessed a natural ability to lead others, meanwhile Kujo’s ability was in healing. He liked to think this was something he inherited from his mother. She had always been great with those kinds of things and Kujo felt blessed that he had received those same gifts - in a way it made him feel like his mother was still with him. And Arche was much like their father Toiro with his gentle nature, his gifts with being a natural leader. Their parents legacy would live on for years and generations to come and Kujo couldn’t help but feel his chest swell with pride. He might not have found himself a mate yet but he knew in time, when everything was right, the right female would come into his life.
But his most recent task was checking the borders, solidifying their territory and making his rounds. He was still attempting to get to know a few faces that he had seen but had not gotten acquainted with. One of those faces was a particularly larger brute, Kujo had heard through the grapevine that his name was Mufasa but everyone spoke of him as the gentle giant of the pack. Arche looked upon him highly and that made him one of Kujo’s top priorities when it came to meeting. Of course he hadn’t initially planned on today being that day but as he moved, his paws leading him to one of the only fresh water sources in the land, he caught an unfamiliar scent. He immediately altered his path, moving through the forestry at a decent pace until finally the hulking form of the brute came into his line of vision. Given the description he could only assume that this had to be Mufasa. He dipped his head in greeting before raising it, recognizing the scent of Aludri upon his fur. Offering a smile he spoke, Hey there.. You must be Mufasa I take it? He was taking a chance guessing his name but he was almost certain that it was him.
