GRAY
She was content with her life. Gray was an only child and so she did not have to fight others for her parents attention. Every day was an easy day for her. She was able to wake up alongside her mother and she didn't have to worry about her well-being. She truly had a carefree lifestyle. Of course being an only child meant that she had far too much time on her hands. She had moments where she wished she had siblings that she could romp with and explore things with but she simply didn't. She was an intelligent pup, she was aware that she lived in the pack called Kairos and that they were technically all one big family. She knew her daddy had a high position in the pack, he was important and she knew that one day she wanted to be just as important as him. However she needed constant reassurance from her mother and father. If she could explore every day she would be content to do so but sometimes her confidence wasn't completely there. On this particular morning the sun was beaming and Gray had managed to muster up the courage to explore things outside of her den. She didn't want to be cooped up inside any longer not to mention the weather was just far too nice to ignore.
She heard buzzing noises and instantly her ears perked forwards and her bright blue eyes were searching for the source of the sound. She had never seen bees before but as soon as she located one she instantly grew curious. Gray jumped forward, chasing after the buzzing creature until finally she was within grasping distance. She snapped her jaws down, catching it in her mouth until a terrible pain erupted within her maw! A startled shriek escaped her lungs as she promptly spit the creature out on the ground before her. Gray was quite literally in tears as she licked her chops, her right cheek feeling swollen from the sting. "Your a meanie!" She snarled before lurching forward and stomping on it with her two front paws. Thankfully it didn't hurt her paw pads and she crushed it into the ground. Her mouth hurt like no tomorrow. She sat upon the ground with a huff, tears still streaming down her cheeks. She sniffled, wondering what she would do now and how she would be able to make the pain go away.
we know what we are
but know not
what we may be
but know not
what we may be
