The cure has been found! Wolves on Anikira are recovering from the disease and life is moving forward with the promise of pups in many packs. And yet darkness looms on the horizon, daring the creatures of Anikira to relax and allow themselves to get comfortable once more.
[attr="class","pltxt"]It had been several weeks since Zoara had encountered the smaller male. He had made the smart decision to move along when she had ordered him to, If he hadn’t, he would have a slow and painful death. Ever since her father had raped her, she had grown a strong hatred of brutes. She was aware that not every male was like her father but the other males that were in the group she was in did nothing to stop him which made them no better than Dio. The lack of interference from the other males has caused her to have a disdain for all males, even if they mean no harm to her because in her eyes, all males were scums.
She was currently heading north where she had been for quite some time. These lands were massive and it seemed that no matter how far north she went, there was still more land ahead of her. Zoara honestly didn’t know why she was traveling North, all she knew is that she started to travel in one direction after the brute had left and it had ended up taking her to where she was now. Everything seemed about the same as she moved through Anikira. There were some differences in the lands but all in all, it was the same. The only thing that was changing was the temperature. It was getting cooler which made Zoara think that she was finally nearing the most northern part of the continent she lived on.
By the time she got to where she was now, the sun was setting and her muscles were aching, begging her to lay down and call it a night. She really had nowhere to be and she was just traveling to travel so she finally gave in to her bodies complaints and found a tree to lay under. Before she knew it, she was already fast asleep.
Mufasa was on his patrols like he always was, checking to make sure that the borders were secure. Especially now that winter was coming they had to make sure that no one planned to attack them before the snow hit. Once they were blanketed in the fine powder it would be harder to do anything or even move the pack if they needed. Winter's were brutal and not everyone could survive here without the protection of a pack. Mufasa was eternally grateful to have found a home here in Aludri, not that he couldn't survive on his own. His breed was used to the bitter cold and his thick coat was testament to his ability to survive. Besides he was not a young pup any longer. Now he was older and wiser, able to make it through life on his own if needed. Not that he ever had any plans to leave Aludri. This pack was his home and Arche was his best friend. He had no mate or children or even any surviving family that he knew of. His loyalty was to this pack and it would stay that way until the day he died. At least he hoped so. He had no plans to take a mate for after two times of having a mate die on him he figured it was not meant to be. There was no need for him to have children of his own when there were children in Aludri he could spent time with.
So he continued to walk along, eager to be done with this part of the patrols. Ophelia had told him she had missed his company so he wondered if perhaps he could find her after he was done with his duties. She was a pleasant female and he found himself relaxing around her. She had a charm that he lacked and so there was little lacking that he had to provide to the conversation. Instead he could just be himself and enjoy himself. It was a freeing experience. But thoughts of catching up with her faded away when he caught the scent of an intruder. More than likely it was some lost loner, but he still had to be sure that he checked it out and removed the threat. They did not have enough food to feed any old rogue that waltz in uninvited. Especially when they didn't take heed of the fresh scent markers. He was always walking the perimeter to make sure that they did not become stale. Sure enough this wolf was here against their best judgement and so Mufasa went out to meet them. What he found was a large female sleeping beneath a tree. He figured she hadn't worried about trespassing since she was such a large wolf, but today was an unlucky one for her, for she was about to meet a wolf larger. "Wake you, female. You are trespassing on Aludri lands."

[attr="class","pltxt"]He was coming after her again, she just knew it. He hadn’t made advances toward her yet but his eyes were staring back at her with deep hunger. This was the way he looked at her right before he would begin to rape her so Ari knew all too well about what was about to happen for this had happened many times before and it had gotten to the point where she had lost count of how many times her father had raped her. It got to the point where it was almost a daily thing and if it wasn’t daily, it was every other day. Sometimes it was so bad that it would happen more than once a day. No matter when it happened, Ari always knew right before it was going to begin and she had just moments to brace herself and before she knew it, he was attempting to mount her and she would try to fight back as she always does despite knowing that it wasn’t going to do her any good.
He was just about to penetrate her right when she woke up, shortly after realizing that she was having a nightmare. Dreaming of the terror of her past wasn’t unusual for the Kenai she wolf for she had dreams like these often causing her to be extremely groggy when she wakes up which was the case now. She was barely lucid and the only thing she could hear was some male’s voice telling her to wake up. She was aware that he had said something else other than that but her groggy state caused her to not quite catch it. All she knew that he said something about Aludri, whatever that was. Once her ice blue eyes focused more, she realized that she was in trouble for the brute that stood before her didn’t seem very happy.
She was unsure of why he was made because last she knew, she was back home with her family but as she started to become more lucid she realized that this was not her home nor was it somewhere she’d been before and by the scent of it, it was owned by a pack that she had knowledge of. That would explain the brute’s displeased expression on his face.
“I’m so sorry….I didn’t know I was trespassing until now. In fact, I don’t even remember coming here in the first place. How did I get here? Did you see,” she asked anxiously.
The female was confused, trying to convince him that she had no idea where she was or how he got here. While the confusion looked innocent and rather convincing it wasn't the first time he had heard those words. More females than he could count had tried to use lack of memory or even confusion to account for trespassing. Mufasa would not be fooled though. Too much bad had happened to his pack in the past because of silver tongues and excuses. Every wolf knew pack law and knew that it was unacceptable to trespass. The fact that she was asleep practically in the middle of Aludri lands did not help her either. She had made her way into their lands somehow and he wanted an explanation. He knew that the borders had plenty of scent markers for her had put them there himself. It was no doubt shocking to wake and find him lingering over her head, her startled expression an indication that she really was confused. Whether that was because she wasn't expecting to be caught or not he would find out. "Listen I think we both know that it's a little far fetched to claim that you have no idea how you got here. It isn't as if you were dragged here in your sleep." That was an impossible thing to consider. No one had the time to stalk females and then drag them into Aludri lands. Even if they did there was no purpose to it. Aludri was not a violent group so there was not much risk in the female being harmed, unless she chose to repeat her crimes. Then Mufasa would have no choice but to take her into custody and figure out what Arche wanted to do.
Mufasa was not above killing someone if it meant keeping the rest of his packmates safe. "You are going to have to come up for some explanation for how you got here. Wolves don't just appear out of thin air, and even if you did you are still trespassing."
It was not a joyous task to have to catch those who came here, but it was one he was dedicated to doing. This wolf was either here to join their pack or they were here to do something nefarious. Whether it was hunting on their lands or to carry out some vendetta he could not allow it. It was in her best interest to come up with some grand reason for being here, but part of him wondered if she would be able to think of anything on the spot. Especially if she was lying about her real intentions.

[attr="class","pltxt"]As soon as the words escaped her maw, she realized how ridiculous they sounded and the look on the brute’s face confirmed it. Now that she was awake, she could smell the scent of others aside from the male that stood above her and they shared a similar scent. If she had been conscious when she had happened upon these lands, she would have known better. Her father was known to just straight up attack anyone that entered their territory, not even bothering to question the wolf to try and give the intruder a chance to explain themselves. Thankfully this giant brute was nothing like Dio and did question her intentions, giving her a chance to explain herself. Ari knew that she was speaking the truth but the male didn’t know that and he wasn’t obligated to believe her. She had a feeling that no matter what she said, he wouldn’t believe her because anything she said would sound bizarre but that was only because it truly was bizarre.
“I understand you questioning the information I have provided you so far, sir. If the roles were reversed, I would feel the same way you do. You don’t know me and you have every right not to believe me but I mean it when I say that I have no idea how I got here. I don’t even remember leaving my home. My last memory was….” she trailed off as she cringed in pain from the exact memory she was talking about. The last thing Ari could remember was that Dio was about to have his way with her again, something that happened on an almost daily basis.
“The last thing I remember was that I was with my father and everything after that is a complete mystery to me. I can understand if you don’t believe any of this and since you don’t know me personally, I don’t expect you to. If you must punish me, then do as you must, I will completely comply. If you want me to leave, just say the word and I will.”

The female was sticking to her story that she had no idea how she got here. Still she was infringing on land that belonged to Aludri, so even if she was some kind of amnesiac she could not remain here. "You must understand my position female. You are trespassing so I cannot simply let you stay here. Do you have any idea where you are from or where you were going?" Perhaps if she had some kind of plan for her life it would be easier to steer her in the right direction. A pack nearby was probably her target and she had simply gotten lost. At least that was what he hoped. Though he could not entirely rule out something sinister in her intentions. Not that he really had an idea of what she wanted. It was a littler frustrating that she was convinced she had no idea how she had gotten here. The whole situation was odd and it put him on edge.
When odd things started happening in Aludri bad things usually followed. He had a duty to his pack and to Arche to keep them safe from those things. "I don't want to have to punish you if I don't have to, but you really have to realize how strange this is. Do you often black out like this and lose your memory?" If this was a normal occurrence for her than perhaps she was just mad. Afflictions of the mind were common enough things to suffer from for the wolves of Anikira. Mufasa had met his fair share of mad characters in his past. Either way he was going to have to figure out exactly what he was going to do with her. A part of him wanted to keep an eye on her to figure out what was wrong with her, but another part simply wanted her gone. If she did pose a threat to his pack mates then it only made him all the more eager to have her away from them. It would be a shame for him to have to kill her just because she was insane.

[attr="class","pltxt"]No matter what she said, the large male wasn’t buying a single word that escaped her maw. Ari knew she was telling the truth and was starting to get slightly frustrated which was uncommon for her. She tried to not let frustration get to her too much since the brute had every right to act the way he was doing. The brown she wolf had trespassed on his pack’s land and all he was trying to do was protect them which he had every right to do. However, Ari wasn’t a threat at all and she wished she knew the right words to say so that the male could see that. The situation she had caused was making that close to impossible though she hoped that she could somehow find a way to convince him that she was telling the truth. Ari really couldn’t think of any other way to say what she was saying though to make her words seem believable. The only way she could think was to go more into detail instead of being vague like she had been. Her only issue with that though was that she would be crushed if she spilled out her darkest secrets just to be called a liar.
“I understand your position, you’re just protecting your pack and I respect that. I am from Xisyn which is one of the southern territories. My family is strict so I am forbidden to leave so I have no idea why or how I left in the first place.”
Ari had tried to leave multiple times when she was younger but she never succeeded. Each time Dio would catch her and punish her. The severity of the punishment would depend on what his mood was but it usually was pretty bad since he wasn’t pleased that his toy was trying to run away. She eventually learned her lesson though and stopped trying to escape and just accepted the way her life was going to be. It wasn’t something she shouldn’t have had to do but it is what she decided would be best and she had made that decision some time ago. However, something had made her leave and she began to wonder what is was. She had already been through the worst of it or at least she thought. Maybe something worse finally happened that she couldn’t remember. She wasn’t able to dwell on these thoughts for too long though for the large male spoke to her again.
“I agree that this is strange as well and trust me, I wish I had the answers you wanted because I feel bad that I don’t. I do have a history of blacking out but I don’t know if I have ever blacked out for this long before. Usually when I do, it’s right about as my dad is about to…..have his way with me but I usually come back to my senses shortly after.”
Ari winced a little as she said the last part as all the memories of flooded back to her. Even though she had accepted how her life was talking about it or even thinking about it brought her emotional pain. That is one of the reasons why she never spoke about it on top of how she knew her father would kill her if she ever told another soul. Her family was well aware of what was going on and turned a blind eye to it but if an outsider were to find out, then they might want to rescue her from her situation. She had to take that risk though in hopes that it will cause this male to believe her.
