[attr="class","wintersirenText1"]The pups from the unwanted litter were thriving. They were growing, and since being born along with Tayas' pups, they had a lot to play with. They had more of a family life than her first litter had done. It was in this that Siren knew she could leave the female with her young. She trusted Tayas, more than she had trusted any other wolf from the pack - aside from Kalique of course. Her stomach was grumbling today and the pups were already fed with food that had been left over. It had been a long time since Siren was even allowed to hunt for herself and she knew that she needed to do it. Her body needed to feel the rush of chasing down the hunt, of killing and other and taking their life. She moved towards Tayas, asking her if she could keep an eye on the young ones. It was only fair. Siren moved from the protection of the den. She stretched her legs and walked from the place she knew. Even before anyone could speak to her, she broke off into a run. It felt so good, so free. Feeling the wind pushing against her form was everything she had wanted for the longest time. She moved to the south of the region, as far as she could go. She wasn't paying attention to anything around her, not really focused on life. She just wanted to run and run.
Then it was too late.
Crossing over the boundary of the pack borders, Siren had no signs of stopping. Even when the territories had hanged to ones she had not seen for a long while, she did not cease. Eventually she did stop, but it was to catch her breath. She saw the large amount of water before her and her thirst grew. Her throat felt like it was dry. She stopped at the shore to drink from the cold waters. After clearing her head and realizing where she was, her heart rushed to her stomach. She was breathing heavily as the panic attacked her small form. She could find home, she could find help - but she was panicking, in such a way that there was nothing else she could do than to just lay down. She rested in the sand, looking to the water to try and calm herself down. Everything was going to be alright, she just needed to take deep breaths and focus on the water.
