[attr="class","post"]He had not meant to meet the smaller wolf, and he had not meant to feel some sort of responsibility over her - but he did. He wanted to protect her, he wanted to keep her safe from the harsh world that Vor'asa held claims over. He took a deep breath as he decided he would being her with him, as he needed to complete his Agoge. He needed to bring back an egg to his home. Not just any egg - no, it would not belong to the large birds he heard about - but the eagles instead. He had hopes of finding an egg that would prove his future was just as grand as he was making it up to be. Through the harsh of winter, they had spent time together. They had helped to keep each other warm from the cold. The wind was terrible, and the snow was dangerous. But now it was long gone. He didn't know where to go to find them, but he knew it had to be deeper within the lands. She didn't know where the eagles were.

"Dahlia, I have to find them.. I have to find the eagles. You can come with me, if you want. But I have to do this. I cannot upset my own father." He took a deep breath as he looked to her, unsure how she would answer his words. He knew that once he got his egg, they would be separated and he was not too sure if she really knew that just yet. He wasn't sure how he felt about her, really. He had the ultimate plan for himself - for his life. She had not been apart of it, but he also had not known her until just these last few weeks. He would go on without her, if she did not wish to come with him. But there was something in his heart that told him she would be coming as well. He would not be forced to go through this alone. He also had to know if she would be doing the Agoge as well. If they found more than one egg, he would surely allow her to have it, but where would she take it? He knew who wanted to break his egg.

She was glad the winter was over. Though it had been pretty and unlike anything she had ever experienced in her life before, she was pleased when the warmth began to fill the world around her once more. Kairos territories were returning to their former glory, and though she had not spent much time on Vor'asa, she was pleased that the lands were becoming more desert like and less snow covered. The sand was still damp and soft to the touch, and it dirtied her pale coat as she moved through it, but every time they stopped for the night she was careful to groom herself and occasionally Perseus as well before they set off the next day. Today it seemed he was prepared to finish his Agoge, and though she would never complete it herself, she was aware of what was required of him and what his future might hold because of it.

She was not a warrior, though, and she had no need to find an egg and bring it back to someone for them to open it for her. She did not know what her future would be, but she knew that she would not be fighting anyone that she did not have to. Plus, she now had Perseus to protect her. And he had done a good job of that so far. They had not run into many dangers in their time on Vor'asa, but nothing too threatening that she knew of. When he said he needed to get his egg and complete his Agoge and that she could go with him, she nodded her head lightly and offered him a sweet smile. "I will not be completing my Agoge, but I will go with you if you will have me." She was not certain that she would always be welcome with him, but then again no one in her life had sent her away willingly so far. Therefore, she had no reason to believe he would abandon her.

She was more than happy to follow him wherever he wanted to go, and though they had only known each other for the short winter months, she still trusted him. Perhaps it was because of her sheltered upbringing, but she did not mind it. She was still young and had no job in Kairos yet, so perhaps she could learn some things along the way as he completed his Agoge and returned his egg to whoever he planned to have crack it open. Perhaps it would be his father, but to her that only meant she would get to meet more wolves in the pack. She wanted to know as many as possible, even if she would only see them one time in her life. She knew that Kairos as big, but in her mind, the world was open to her and she wanted to explore and discover as much as she could for as long as possible.

[attr="class","post"]He looked to the female as she spoke to him. "Of course you can come with me. But maybe you should double think about it yourself." He didn't want to push her, but if they were going together,she could just grab an egg. She could just go with him through the whole thing and take one. "Come on, we should get going before the eagles leave their nests." He moved from the make-shift den they had created together. He thought many things in his mind as his paws carried him through the sand-covered lands. It was warm here and he hoped that they would be able to find the eagles before the hottest part of the day. He wanted to grab the eggs, get some rest and the next light, they would be heading back to Ina'mos. But then it occurred to him. What if she did not want to leave her home? What if she wanted to stay in Vor'asa or even Ale'ina? Was he just going to leave her there? Would he go back for her?

These questions plagued his mind, and he came to a stop. "Dahlia," he said softly as he turned to look at her, "when I go... when I return to Ina'mos... Uhmm..." He was nervous with asking her. "Are you coming with me?" He asked finally pushing it forward. He would never make her leave her home. He would never expect her to do it because he wanted to. He enjoyed the time they spent together, as she had taken care of things he really didn't care to do. She groomed him every night while they laid down to go to sleep. She made sure he was comfortable. He made sure they ate. They were a working pair, one that relied on the other to sustain their happy life. If he went back home without her, how would his life change? Would his family approve of the new addition? Did that mean she would be his mate? A large wad of saliva built up in his throat. He was not ready to have a mate. He knew that he did not want to have multiple, that he would give his heart to one female for the rest of his days. If she came with him, would she expect to be his mate forever and ever?

Had the little female been more experienced in the ways of the adults and courting, perhaps she would have noticed how uncomfortable the young male suddenly became. But the pale female was just as innocent - if not more so - than he was. His stuttering words confused her for a moment, but eventually she was able to string them together into a coherent thought. "I will go with you if that is what you want." She said, glancing around them as she spoke. She did not know the way back to Ser'eri and to her parents, but she knew that they would still see each other frequently enough. Plus, she knew how the others spoke of Ina'mos, and she was curious to see the island herself.

"I have always wanted to see Ina'mos." She said softly, offering him a soft smile and a wag of her tail. She did not bother commenting on how he told her she should think about completing her Agoge, for she already knew that was not her path in life. She was not meant to be a fighter, not meant to be a warrior. She would do her part for Kairos, but she would not kill or harm others to do it. She would heal them, she would protect them in her own way. She only needed to learn. She would, but it would take time and patience. Both of which she was certain she had. The little female was completely innocent in the ways of the pack and the interactions between males and females, and though she found Perseus handsome, she was too young and naive to read any further into things.

He was her friend, and she enjoyed spending her days and nights at his side. She groomed him, kept him company, and he kept her fed and warm at night. What more could she really ask for? She missed her family, her brothers, father and mother, but she knew they would still be a constant in her life whether she was at their sides or not. They would never abandon her or Kairos, and she knew that no matter how far she followed Perseus, they would always welcome her back with warmth and love. She was truly blessed, born to a father of power and protection, as well as a mother that adored her and her brothers completely. She was not built for hardship or darkness, and though she knew nothing about what Kairos stood for or had done, but she was blissfully protected from it all.
