she thinks she talks
Shekinah knew it would have to happen eventually, and she had always planned for it. Though she was certain Tiayr would remain as the mainland, Shekinah knew that the wolves of Eden needed more to roam, more to call home. She had high hopes for Eden and the future, hopes that she could not limit to the borders of Tiayr. It would be a large task, she knew, placing it upon her son, but he was a rambunctious boy who needed to learn, to earn the respect he wanted, and he needed to learn actual responsibility - so Shekinah thought that it couldn't have come at a better time.
Cryothia, the land where snow still fell despite the seasons changes, it was as North as one could get before the water fully began. It was pretty, however, and Shekinah welcomed the chilly breeze as she surfaced from the water, the sun still sharp in the sky, making the effect of the water less brutal than what it would have been had it been grey skies hiding the Spring sun.
Stepping from the water, she wasted no time in shaking her fur of the droplets. They spun from her fur and made it to the snow, but Shekinah knew they'd not remain liquid for long. Everywhere she looked, she saw white, but she was not a silly creature. Others would call this place home, critters that would otherwise not be found on other territories of Anikira, and they would help sustain any of the Eden wolves that would venture here. Mountains loomed and hills rolled, and Shekinah knew this was right.
It had long since lost any claim or scent of another wolf, and soon, it would have a claim to it once more. Eden were wolves that held strength of their own, their resolves thick and Shekinah knew they would be fine within Cryothia. Perhaps it would take a while to get used to, to understand how the place worked and where was best to rest and explore, but they had all the time in the world. Surviving was not without hardships, but hopefully, surviving would turn into living.
Lifting her head to the sky, Shekinah's coppery eyes were then hidden behind her lids as a howl drawled from her throat, letting all that could hear her that Cryothia had the wolves once again. The wolves of Eden had come, and they'd continue on, with Tiayr and Cryothia at their hearts. She would set to marking the borders later, for the moment, she let her howl stretch across Cryothia and hopefully, some of Eden would hear her and come to see what was now part of their home.
