She had not strayed far from where Sabaoth had found her. Thankfully he helped her survive the winter, a feat for which she was eternally grateful. In fact, she had vowed to provide him with anything and everything he ever needed for the rest of her life. She was part of Kairos now, and though Saboath did not particularly want her attention constantly, she did know that she was to remain at his side throughout the entirety of every breeding season. He would likely not love her, he would not care deeply about her, but he would keep her alive. And in exchange, she would provide him with a future for his lineage. He had not said it all in so many words, but from what she understood she was to show her appreciation to all of the males of Kairos throughout the rest of the year. She was not of a noble rank, and that she was not unhappy about.
She had been raised to serve, she had been raised to believe that males were the superior gender. She was more than happy to do as they wished when they wished it. She was honestly just glad to be alive and thankful that the horrid winter was over. From what she understood her rank was somewhat equivalent to a Consort, though she had no particular 'master' among all of the males of the pack. They were all her masters in a way, and that morning she found herself alone in the sands of Vor'asa beside the ship where Sabaoth had found her. Now that her heat was long over, she did not worry as much about staying close to him. He likely had his own affairs to attend to, and she had no intention of crowding him. So she let him leave her, and instead she wandered the beaches of the place she had last seen him.
She knew there was an island off the coast, and a large part of her wanted to explore it. but at the same time, she was unsure of whether or not she was strong enough yet to brave the swim there. She had bulked up slightly from the skin and bones Sabaoth had found cowering in the ship nearby, but she was still not to her full strength and potential. So instead she decided to attempt fishing, and she waded only deep enough into the water to see the silvery shapes darting right and left. Then she waited. It took several minutes before she spotted a fish close enough, and then her head darted down and jaws closed onto it. She proceeded to bite down hard and then threw it far onto the shore so that it could not escape back into the water. This process she repeated several times, until she had gathered at least four fish in a pile on the sand. Then she left the water, not bothering to shake herself dry as she moved towards them and lowered herself down into the hot sands to begin eating the first of them.
