A light wind. A soft bird's song. The heat of the sun radiating down. It was the picture of a perfect day.
Too bad Eternia could not see it.
The white fem rested alone in the middle of the forests of Tiayr, perched atop the trunk of a fallen tree. Her tail swayed lazily, hanging towards the ground. Back and forth, back and forth, it swung. Like clockwork. Her blank eyes were open, staring at her endless nothing. If it were not for the movement of her tail, it would be fair to assume the fae was dead.
She had recently returned from Cryothia. She had been lost in her thoughts that day. Lost in her mind, she had traveled further north than expected and had gotten caught in a storm. Luckily she had happened across Arche, the leader of Aludri. He had proved decent company, escorted her to a cave to rest in peace. The following day, Eternia had answered Shekinah's call to expand their pack's territory. That had been last week. Since then, Eternia's days had been more of the same. Silence, sitting alone, with only her thoughts for company. Lemuel had been busy with his duties. The pair had hardly spoke since Eternia's return. Funny how she had initially thought that their reunion would have left them paired at the hip. She had been mistaken.
Here she was instead. Alone in the woods. Again. Her sense of purpose was waning. Upon her initial return, she had done all she could to help out the healers. Mostly gathering herbs, but helping out nonetheless. The pack was healthy, which was great, but it left her with little to do. She could not hunt. She could not scour the borders for intruders. So here she sat. Again.
A heavy huff escaped her maw as she picked up her head to face the opposite direction.
Notes: Eternia's in a sour mood.
