She had decided to wander a bit. She no longer needed the shelter and protection of her mother and father, nor her brothers. But she still sought them out frequently. She had spent a lot of time lately with Tupoc, and she was grateful for his attention and her mother's instruction with the aid of Kharak. She knew her purpose and she was more than prepared to begin her life officially as a Ganika of Khalsa. She was eager, as well, and she wanted to know the entirety of Khalsa's territory in order to better serve the males that wandered there. So that day she moved towards the newly claimed lands of Arit, curiosity and excitement driving her paws faster and faster until she was running across the border. She had grown greatly over the past several months, and now she was basically full grown and sported the appearance of a rather beautiful adult female.
She was shorter and thinner than her brothers, with curves accentuating her form nicely and red-hued fur that her mother had passed down to her. All in all she was beautiful - perhaps even more so than her mother - and there was at least a small bit of pride within her because of it. That was where she and Isolde differed. She took pride in herself, her abilities, her appearance. Her mother did not. Tristan was more than capable of a lot already, but she was still getting used to everything that would be required of her as a Ganika of Khalsa. Tupoc had been more than willing to help introduce her to her rank, and she smiled slightly at the thought of their recent interactions. He had grown as well, and she had found him even more handsome and alluring than she had previously. Her brother was all grown up, just like she was, and they were both more than ready to step into their adult lives within Khalsa.
But today she was alone. Her pace slowed as she crossed the border and spotted to Oasis, her breath catching in her throat at the beauty of the place. She stopped entirely to admire it for several minutes, before her paws carried her forward once more. Soon she was stepping into the clear waters, smiling at the warmth and refreshing cool at the same time. It was an odd feeling, and she stood there silently for several moments watching the fish gradually build up the courage to swim where she stood once more. When they were calm and their movements had slowed, she chose a single silver figure and then dipped her head quickly beneath the water to snatch it up in a matter of seconds. She was surprised at her success at first, but she was more than pleased and proud of herself as well. It took her only moments to trot back to dry land and lay down, her prize between her paws as she began slowly to eat the silvery creature that she had caught for herself.
