[attr="class","pltxt"] she talks she thinks
As the months went by, Elara had started to notice the differences with herself. Her mother had been sure to point them out too, all charming and positive. Dione had called her a blossoming flower, though Elara wasn't sure she would agree. The girl felt bigger now, her paws no longer seeming too big for the rest of her and her fur seeming sleeker and holding a neater appearance. Though she did not rival the height of her siblings or Vorilye, Elara didn't mind. She rather liked being more like her mother in that regard, though in all others, Elara felt as if she fell short.
She didn't have the grace of her Mother. A princess she may be in title and in blood, but in body - Elara felt more like a bumbling Bunny. She had never seen her mother trip, yet Elara seemed to do it more than she actually walked. Though her paws were no longer too big in appearance, they sure felt it when she walked and caught her paw on something - sometimes she thought there was nothing even there for them to catch on. It filled her with quiet annoyance though she never voiced it.
Elara let her thoughts taunt and haunt her silently, in the cage of her own mind.
She was strewn across a boulder in the depths of Lleingas Woods, the sun high in the sky though it did not fill her with warmth. There was a chill to the air and the leaves that were above were coated in various shades of orange - though they also coated the ground as the fell from their branches. The weather was changing, that much she knew, Elara wondered if anything else would change with it. Would she change anymore?
Icy blue eyes glanced down to the dark fur of her paws, the black was slightly mixed with grey, though there was nothing really interesting about them. The rest of her was coated in dapples of grey and brown, resembling her mother and her blood, but even still, though her mother told her how unique and pretty she looked, Elara couldn't help but think it was only her saying that out of duty. She was nothing like her mother, who Elara thought oozed beauty.
With a delicate sigh, Elara glanced away from her paws to glance throughout the woods as a gentle wind wafted through, causing a few yellow leaves to break away from their branches and swirl down towards the woodland ground.
