The weeks that had passed since the dwarf had first met the black beauty, Diomedes had found herself spending more and more time with her. It was a curious thing when her brother Arcturus couldn’t see Cyrene the day he saw her for the first time. The Dire mix couldn’t think of a reason as to why her friend was invisible to her brother. The chocolate point pup could see the other female so she had to exist so there had to be some kind of explanation. It didn’t take Diomedes too long to figure out that other wolves were unable to see her friend either. Most of the individuals that she had met answered with a weird expression on their face and a couple of them even asked if she was crazy. The dire mix knew better and would politely say no and would walk away. There had to be an answer out there somewhere so she would have to continue her search and in time hoped that she would find the answer.
Since she was old enough now, Diomedes began to expand her search to other areas of Anikira. Today she found herself a large area of land that was called North Igneir. It wasn’t far from her home on In’amos, all she had to do was swim across the ocean. The idea seemed easier to her than it really was since the dwarf had little practice with swimming. Due to her size, it was easy for a wave to pull her under which made the trek longer than it should have been. Once she had hit land, Diomedes was completely exhausted and immediately sought shelter in the forest that she found herself in. Despite sleeping for what seemed like a long period of time, the chocolate point pup found herself still tired and sore from the previous night’s adventure. There was no time to dwell on how she felt though for she needed to see if anyone here could see here friend. Maybe it was just the wolves back at home that couldn’t see Cyrene. It would be weird if that was the case, but in the pup’s mind, it was totally possible.
“Okay Cyrene, let’s go see if the wolves here can see you.”
