He had decided to wander back into South Igneir after he had claimed his little pet. Diomedes had practically begged him to take her, and though he had thought about using force for a moment or two, he did not need to. But today he had left her to her own devices within Ravenis's current location to go out in search of another creature that he claimed to be his as well. His entire family belonged to him, but his sisters even more so than his mother or father. His parents could take care of themselves, they could fight and they could hunt, and as the leaders of Ravenis he was certain they did not need him checking up on them constantly. But his sisters were another story. In his mind they would always be weak and helpless, and they would always need to be protected so that they could not be taken from him.
He was not certain that it was love, but more of a possessiveness that he could never seem to overcome. It was the same reason that he had taken Dio, and the same reason he would keep her for as long as he possibly could. She was from a pack, yes, but she had left that pack and abandoned her family that supposedly remained within it. She was free for the taking, and he had done just that. Now his dark paws carried him through The Serpent's Tongue, the last place he had seen Borealis, one of the sisters he now sought out. His mismatched eyes scanned the crusted lava around him, picking out a couple snakes that slithered through the cracks here and there just as rain began to fall around him.
It was winter, yes, but as far south as they were there was hardly ever any snow. This was a cold rain, though, uncomfortable at it's best and irritating when the wind blew through his dampening fur. Eventually he would retire to the caves, but for the time being he stood out in the rain and watched what in his mind was his kingdom grow slick with rain. He would rule Ravenis one day, he was certain of it. For now, though, he was too young and lacked the experience needed to run a pack. So for the time being he allowed his parents to keep it, while he pretended to be content with his unexciting lot in life.

He Walks. "He Talks." He Thinks.
