It had been days since she had left the security of The Occasus, but at the same time she had only ventured into Khalsa's new territory of Arit. It was still safe where she now walked, paws carrying her across rocky sands and along the edge of the water as the sun slowly began to rise in the distance. It truly was a beautiful sight, but the young female was not thinking about the sunrise or the upcoming day. Her mind was in the past, on everything she had already learned and experienced. Not only had she coupled for the first time with her brother, Tupoc, she had also been mounted by another male in Khalsa as well. Baasir smelled of her parents, but she did not think anything of it. It was no surprise that he had likely taken her mother as well, and she had enjoyed their encounter quite a lot.
But she was alone again, and her tail hung limp behind her as she slowed her pace and finally came to a stop at the edge of the water with the rocks stacking up behind her like theater seating. It was as if she were on stage, ready to perform for an audience that did not exist with a co-star that was not present. It made her feel unneeded, unwanted, and the young female let out a soft whine as her green eyes focused on the water before her. She needed a distraction, something to keep her busy until she found a way to be needed again. It took her only a matter of moments to decide before she padded forward into the water, enjoying the feeling of the cold liquid on her paws and legs. Thankfully winter hardly touched this far south, and though the water itself was cold and the breeze was cool instead of hot like it was in the summer, everything else was warm and pleasant.
She knew it was likely to rain at some point, and as her eyes rose toward the sky she figured that the clouds were telling her it would be sooner rather than later. But she did not fear a storm, not in the bay. She would be fine, and since it never snowed this far south either, she was not at all concerned about catching a cold or freezing in the water. She moved forward slowly until the water tickled the fur of her belly and that was where she stopped, her back to the shore and her eyes scanning the waters out ahead. What adventures were out there? What else could the world offer her outside of Khalsa? But these would be questions for a creature that was not content with their lot in life. For a young female that did not know her place and wanted to explore. But not Tristan. She was happy with her life in Khalsa, and she had every intention of remaining there for as long as she was needed and wanted.
