Born on a balmy autumn evening in late October, Jaidah was the most unusual of her litter. The rest of her littermates were born darkly colored, and darkly eyed. Jaidah was born as if spun from moonlight and blood, her skin a pale pink and her fur solid, untouched white. When her pale eyes came open, a pink hue had been bestowed upon her porcelain face rather than the expected blue. Her mother was instantly in love with her little albino dove, as well as her father! They doted on the pup, not knowing the demon they were truly harboring. Beautiful as she was, her parents had no idea that they had borne a monster into this world. It should have been evident, however, as Jaidah was born with small and needle-like milk teeth. This small detail would give her the ability to pierce her mother's flesh, instinct driving her to mix blood into her mother's milk, an almost vampiric start to the little monster. As Jaidah grew, and her parents began to catch on to the strange habit of staying in the dark, they began to worry about her mental state. It wouldn't be long until their worst fears came to light.
At only twelve weeks old, one of Jaidah's brothers thought it would be a funny prank to force her outside the den during the brightest part of the day - knowing full well what the sun would do to her. The white little dove was forced and cornered by her siblings to stand in the direct light of the sun. It was like the girl could feel her delicate skin and eyes burning! Her eyes had welled up with tears, a reaction to the brightness of the light, and she pleaded with her siblings to let her back in the den. They refused. It was then that self-preservation first kicked in for the vampiric beauty, something within the girl felt as though it had snapped and she lashed out, killing one of her brothers and maiming a sister in the process. The kill had been accidental and had only come as self-defense. Her brother had pinned her beneath him and had started tearing at Jaidah's neck, to which the young girl responded with a bite of her own. Jaidah had gripped her brother by the throat and flipped them over, pinning him down with a paw to his neck as well. Suffocating the young sibling, Jaidah felt something whisper in her mind, like a peal of tinkling laughter that teased at her subconscious and made her hungry.
In defense of their fallen brother, her other siblings rushed in on Jaidah, resulting in one of her sisters getting an eye slashed with a claw from the pale monster. It was futile to fight them, all the while her pink skin grew red beneath the harsh light of the sun - even in fall. Her eyes burned and so did the rest of her, but she tried to make it back to the den. Under the remaining three siblings, Jaidah was wounded and nearly incapacitated herself, she would have died if her mother and father had not come back from hunting. Finding the three on top of their sister as she fought for her life, the pair put a stop to the mayhem, but they had not seen the body of their son, nor the face of their daughter. Once they saw what had fully happened, their attitude toward Jaidah changed for the worst.
After she was left in the dirt and bright sunlight alone, bleeding and heartbroken at her siblings' actions, Jaidah pulled the body of her brother into the den with her. She was hungry after her ordeal and pained to the point she almost couldn't move, but something called to her from deep within. Succumbing to grief, and urged on by instinct, Jaidah began to consume her brother. The demon had finally awakened, and Jaidah began to feel a sick sort of satisfaction from the meat she consumed. Her meal had been partially devoured when her mother had come back to check on her, fueled by maternal instinct. Upon discovery, everything between her familial pack and Jaidah had changed.
The entire family had turned their collective backs on her, but her mother was just maternal enough to heal her wounds and feed her, though a regular diet could not satisfy her true hunger any longer. Her family became abusive and mistrustful, and so Jaidah mirrored their actions against her. They never quite came close to her, remaining out of strike range when they did approach her. This began to wear on the young monster, and she slowly became hateful and spiteful toward them. Tensions mounted, and during a particularly bright day, her family waited for Jaidah to fall asleep and left just as they had entered the lands of Anikira. This left Jaidah truly alone, and at only six months old, very vulnerable. When she emerged that night to find her family gone, Jaidah figured it was better this way, and decided to go it on her own in these new lands, wondering what her future would be.
Personality: Once Jaidah reaches her adult years, she will settle out to be a rather clever demon. She is capable of socializing but prefers to only associate with wolves like her. Dark-minded and rather fierce, Jaidah is the type of wolf who gets what she wants no matter what. It is almost as though someone else takes control of her when she gets mad, becoming agreeable to pain, and almost seeming to seek it out. Jaidah is not one to cross, as she tends to eat the ones who betray her, quite literally. Unafraid of any sort of homicide, Jaidah likes to challenge herself with stronger prey, and will often seek them out in an attempt to slake her hunger. While she is beautiful, the girl will not hesitate to show a more deadly side. Vicious and brutal, Jaidah can keep up with most when it comes to a fight. She does possess a heart, however, and is not an unfeeling creature. Should she ever have children she will fawn and dote on them as her own parents once did with her, but she will be a stern mother. Her loyalty is hard-won, but once achieved it will be unshakable and unquestioned. She tends to get rather clingy with the ones she comes to love and will often smother them, even against their wishes. Of course, she is only six months old currently, so more to come as she is written.
