[attr="class","pltxt"]For the first time in a very long time, Killian was lost.
He had no idea what to do, where to go, or how to make things return to how they were. Freya could not be found. He and the other members of the pack had waited for a long while, but she did not reappear. His heart sank, for he loved her more than he could ever explain it to another being. He knew she had loved him, but it was not at the same intensity. Her body was wild and craved attention from others. Killian distracted his mind with the bodies of other beings. He just wanted to be with Freya, forever. He would always be by her side, never letting her down. Wolves from Eleos began to leave. It was slow at first, but then more and more disappeared. Killian warned his young to be safe, to stick together, and for his son to watch over his daughter. He would be responsible for her now. Killian would stay in Kal'dyne, waiting for his love to return to them. Weeks passed and she never came. Even after he got the cure from that weird wolf who cursed him, Killian did not feel as though he was the same wolf.
Time seemed to stand still. The days grew longer, and the nights seemed to last an eternity. Many nights, KIllian did not sleep. He stood guard at the borders of his home, waiting and listening. His heart would not allow him to give up. But he had to. There was no other option. Killian's hunger for food grew far too strong, but the idea of being within these lands - hunting without his love - it was too heartbreaking. For the first time in a long time, Killian was forced to leave the pack. It was time. He moved through the borders, making his way across the boundary line. The pain stung so badly. How could he betray Eleos or even Freya? If she ever did return, would she accept him back? This question haunted his mind, causing a fog of doubt to wash over his soul. She never loved you. She abandoned you. She never wanted you. The large male believed that this was all true. How could she ever love a monster such as himself? He had even infected his own sister with the disease. Zelena was the one wolf he wanted to protect among all others. But he failed her too.
Further he moved into the neutral lands. He didn't care for R'imdar much. he had been there before, it was rather boring to him. Instead, he decided to head for the peninsula. He crossed the cold waters and made his way to the land. It was a tough journey but he made it, and with little interruption from the beasts that dwell beneath the surface. Part of him wished that he had drowned from the tired feeling in his body and the lack of nutrients. But he lived. Killian hoisted himself onto the land and shook his pelt free of the water. His thick winter coat prevented him from shivering, or even feeling winter's deadly touch. The once Chosen moved along the rocks, smelling various scents that all seemed to be connected to one another. In the dark of night, Killian could feel like there were eyes watching him, but he knew not where they had come from. Raising his tail above his spine, his head lowered towards the ground - protecting his chest from danger.
"Who is there? Show yourself!" He commanded the wolf within the shadows.
