[attr="class","post"]The winds that blew through his coat were harsh and stung to the bone. His coat was not completely ready for winter just yet, even with it steadily approaching. Vulcan's two toned eyes watched as the world seemed to move so quickly around him. He stood still. A strange scent lingered in the air and he could do little to understand what it was or where it had been coming from. He decided to follow it, for his sense of adventure pulled him in all kinds of directions. He followed this scent, this odd feeling looming in the air above him. He was cautious, but only just ever so slightly. As a larger being on this earth, he was not too worried with what he might come into contact with. If it were smaller than him, he really wouldn't need to display much force. A quick flip back of his lips and sharing the impressive mouth beneath might be just enough to send an annoyance running.
When he neared the area, he found black specs falling through the skies. It smelled weird and was not cold to the touch. What could it possibly be? He was unsure, but he wanted to investigate more. To the south of where he stood, he could see this large mountain, but it didn't have a true peak. It was like caved in or something. He inspected it from afar, curious but cautious enough not to get closer. Many of the trees surrounding the basin were scorched and ruined. Some seemed to grow a little life back, but they were halted significantly. He stood among some of the ruined trees, inspecting their trunks and ripping at some of the bark. Some pieces fell from it easy as butter. Some still had some semblance of life clinging with all they could muster. Shame, really. Whatever had caused this damage and destruction was nothing to be messed with.
