The cure has been found! Wolves on Anikira are recovering from the disease and life is moving forward with the promise of pups in many packs. And yet darkness looms on the horizon, daring the creatures of Anikira to relax and allow themselves to get comfortable once more.
[attr="class","post"] The stars had disappeared, and now, the sun had risen above the horizon as it illuminated everything with its majestic glow. The birds chirped as the wind made the trees dance along with it, synced in a perfect, harmonious display that made a mottled silver femme smile softly. Misty eyes observed her surroundings as she walked with no known destination. It had been rather hot these past few days, but today had been colder than usual, with winds that sent chills down her spine. She loved cold weather, and preferred the rainy days, but for some reason the pains she felt always felt worse when she was surrounded by these conditions. She could never understand why... the days that she felt the most comfortable were the days that she considered much more painful. Nonetheless, she enjoyed them anyway. She didn't let the crippling pains she often felt take away the beauty of the rainy days, or the serenity and comfort of the colder winds. She just kept walking... she just kept smiling.
Her steps carried her to the plains... a beautiful, gorgeous place where she would often visit to wind down and enjoy nature. Sitting down in one of the hills, and then laying down, she began to observe everything around her as the wind blew against her fur. A sharp pain suddenly hit her left paw, making her flinch in response. Closing her eyes, Celeste took a deep breath as she felt her legs numb down and her body heavy and tired. She looked around nearby and a few feet from her she saw a white poppy flower. Standing up, she limped towards it, trying to resist the pain; after chewing it, she laid down once more and lifted her head to see the beautiful place that surrounded her. And, for a moment, she began to remember. Her mind began to flow freely, much to her disgrace--memories of her parents began flooding her, making her extremely melancholic and sad for a moment.
Oh, how she missed them... Sometimes, she desired to return to where she came from, to see them and tell them how much she missed them, but she couldn't return to her home. She felt free in the solitude, in the serenity of the lonely days and silent nights. But, she missed them. Planning on returning to visit them soon, she began to feel the effects of the flower kicking in as she began to feel dizzy and inexplicably peaceful. The pain began to go away as she lowered her head, placing it on top of her front legs. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and fell asleep, thankful that the pain would be gone once she woke up.

The land he was in always had many surprises to him, no matter where he looked different kinds of insects fluttered around and the sun warmed the green grass that was in the open fields, while the trees blocked out the light inside the forest where almost nothing grew between them. A certain breeze would sometimes cool him off as he was not particularly happy with the warm climate sometimes and wished there was a colder territory that he could go to, without having a pack annoy him. Surely he could feel annoyed about it and be grumpy too, but that would take too much energy. Energy he could put into other things such as hunting or maybe expanding his small hideout with more soft materials. It wasn't the reason why he had gone to walk in these plains, only wanderlust that took him away to the distance of this land, that he needs to familiarize with anyways, a very good coincidence someone could say.
As the wolf walked past a few trees next to a big rock he could notice a scent, new and definitely a female. It was rather intriguing to meet a few new people here and there, even if he hated most contact or all of it, the chance of meeting someone that he will like, which is small, is still too alluring to ignore. His feet only carried him slowly to the source, having no need to rush towards someone that might be a disappointment. Then the black young wolf spotted her sleeping, in a rather accessible place. It was foolish to do that, who knows what danger she might be in, wild creatures or other wolves who would want to exploit her. Atheus was one of them, but this one didn't interest him enough to manipulate or use for his needs. Instead, he would just sit there, in some distance and stare at her, listening to the birds that chirped and the wind that made leaves rustle.

Jaidah is one of the albinos on the site, a brand new character brought to life by a brand new player. It is interesting to see how such a pure looking being could be wrapped up in the angsty claws that is Irkalla! We will definitely be staying in-tune with this character to see just what heights Bird is able to take her!
